The Mercy Healthcare Foundation
Reaching Out to Northeastern Pennsylvania

Founded in 1998, the Mercy Healthcare Foundation extends the healing ministry of Jesus by improving the health of our communities in Northeastern Pennsylvania, with an emphasis placed on the financially challenged and underserved.

Our primary goal is to support the work of Mercy Health Partners through a variety of fundraising appeals and development programs.

To achieve the greatest impact with our resources, we prioritize our support by:

• providing improved access to quality healthcare services for the uninsured/medically underserved
• promoting healthy communities through the Msgr. Andrew J. McGowan Institute for Community Health Initiatives and by networking with organizations whose missions reflect that of the Foundation
• improving the quality of care provided by Mercy Health Partners by supporting the acquisition of state-of-the-art technology
